PGDM (Pharmaceutical Management)

The Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Pharmaceutical Management) was started in 1997 in collaboration with the Indian Drug Manufactures Association (IDMA). It is a 24 –month full time AICTE approved program catering to the needs of the Pharma industry, and offers education on industry specific subjects like Pharmaceutics, Physiology, GMP, Pharma Marketing (including Product Management, Brand Building, New Project Launch and Sales Force Management), IPR, Drug Regulation, International Marketing in addition to General Management. SIESCOMS is the pioneer to recognize the Pharma industry's need for skilled and competent professionals in the knowledge economy.

The program aims at meeting Pharma industry’s demands for professionals who are well equipped to take on the challenges of business in the knowledge economy and developing marketing and other professionals in different functional areas who have insight into the market place and are aware of global trends.

This program is slowly ushering into the entire healthcare industry on a holistic basis and catering to the needs of CROs, CRTOs, underwriting,and so on. International marketing is the other emerging focus.

SUMMER TRAINING

This is an exclusive two months training programme at the end of the First year. It is the first chance for the students to actually relate all the classroom discussions and theoretical deductions with the practical corporate arena. On a number of occasions new solutions, new definitions or new approaches to various existing problems are offered by students in their area of specializations.

Course: Post Graduate Diploma in Pharmaceutical Management (PGDM-PM)
(2 year full time course)

Eligibility:

Graduation in Pharmacy/Life Science/Micro-Biology/Bio-Chemistry from a recognized university with minimum of 50 per cent mark throughout the academic career. The students who are appearing for final year examination/ awaiting final Year results may also apply.

Admission Process :

  1. Aptitude Test
  2. Group Discussions
  3. 2 rounds of personal interviews

Depending upon the response the process will be held in metros other than Mumbai i.e. Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata and Chennai

Fee structure:

Fee charged was Rs. 1.2 Lakhs/- per year
plus cost of laptop which would be provided by the institute (mandatory).

Admission Guidelines

The last date of  sale of form  : 01.03.08

The last date of submission of completed application form : 03.03.08

The process (Group discussion /2 rounds of interviews) :  08.03.08 to 16.03.08

The cost of the form :  Rs.1250/- (either by demand draft in favour of SIES College of Management Studies payable at Mumbai or cash)

Downloaded forms can be submitted along with the remittance of Rs.1250/-. The brochure will be sent immediately on submission of form.

: 20 minutes

1st round of interviews

c. Aptitude test performance
d. Performance in group discussion & both rounds of interviews
